Simbiosi is all about re-thinking the idea of a chandelier. It’s a chandelier that has been de-structured and that can be re-assembled according to the aesthetic taste of the user. It has one ceiling rose with 2 pendants attached, with flexibility to fix the remaining 6 pendants (Each pendant measures 16.5×3 cm with a drop of up to 300 cm) wherever you wish and which are powered by the connecting red wire. Ideal for over a dining table.
What does Davide Groppi say?
It’s a kind of magic act made possible thanks to luminous diodes that have been connected in series using wires that are practically invisible. The diodes also use very little electrical current. As a whole, it appears weightless and almost inconceivable. The very thin red wire that connects the light sources and brings them alive, one in relation to the other, is the principle component of this project. It represents the synthesis of our poetic vision.

What is the “colour temperature”?
This is the technical term for the type of light provided and the ambiance that it creates. You can pick the options available for this lamp, along with your chosen colour/finish. As a guide, 3000k provides a warm white light and 2700k provides a warm light. RGB (which stands for Red, Green and Blue) lighting is offered for select product/s and this enables you to create millions of different colours of light, all based on these three primary colours.
What is the lighting output in lumen?
Lumens (denoted by lm) are a measure of the total amount of visible light (to the human eye) from a lamp or light source. The higher the lumen rating the “brighter” the lamp will appear and you can see the lumen output for each lamp in the pick list options.
